This year’s batch of grafted apple trees are looking particularly strong. Now’s the time to get them in he ground. Dan Elliott has potted apple trees on hardy rootstock grafted from varieties in his extensive collection. In addition to many of the common northern varieties, he also has some of the harder-to-find varieties such as Norda, Norcue, Norhey, Norkent Norlove or Lee 16, 17, 21, 26, 27, and 31 or Prairie Sun, Prairie Sensation and Prairie Magic.
Dan also has a few Carmine Jewel cherries on their own roots and will have the new Romeo cherry next spring.
